Thanks for supporting independent music, and of course thanks for taking time to look specifically at my website and listen to my music. If you like stories then I think you will like my songs. I have a song called "I remember." It is about how I write - putting myself in someone else's shoes in some other place and time, and then trying to imagine what they must have thought and felt. I get a lot of inspiration from old photographs, and you will find plenty of those in my videos and at my concerts. I am especially grateful to the Library of Congress website. It is an amazing resource that everyone should spend some time on. I also love hearing people's personal and family stories (share your stories here if I you are OK with me making them into a song). I'm not sure what music genre I am. Many songs are definitely folk, while more than a few would be called Americana. Then there are a some other songs that would probably be considered something else. In the end they are all story songs in one form or another. I figure that as long as people keep living I will never run out of song material.
How about a house concert?
They're not nearly as expensive as you think, and I love meeting new people and hearing their stories. Contact me for details.
